To ensure your home (Log Cabin Timber framed Home)...has minimal settlement and checking, our timbers are dried naturally for a minimum of one year. We hand sort all materials for your home to guarantee quality and accuracy. With choices of red pine, white pine and western red cedar in a variety of profiles and sizes, we are sure to achieve the look you are after.

The Dove tail

Originating over 100 years ago, the dovetail has become the cornerstone of the log home industry. Nowhere else is that statement more true than at the shops of Discovery Dream Homes. This is where the dovetail has truly evolved into a precise milled and calculated piece of joinery. It is now a true water shedding dovetail.

Thru-rod System:

We have taken existing thru-rod technology and improved upon it. Wood is a natural material that needs to be able to move and flex. We have devised a system that allows the timbers to settle and adjust to the seasons.
These and other innovative design processes occuring at Discovery Dream Homes, combined with field proven construction techniques , make this system the envy of the industry.
